MBABANE – Back with a bang! Eswatini born songstress Nothando Hlophe is set to launch her new album at Sibane Hotel on October 13, 2018 at 6pm. This was confirmed by Sphiwe Nxumalo, from Leserato Events which is Hlophe’s management company.

Hlophe, affectionately known for her hit song ‘Khululugcobo’, brought her mellifluous sounds to the Soweto Theatre for her first ever live DVD recording.
This recording encompassed a blend of traditional and contemporary gospel sounds.

She opted for a venue that embraced the diversity of her home country.
The album, titled ‘Nothando Hlophe LIVE in Soweto’, was recorded live at the Soweto Theatre on the April 28, 2018, and has never been performed anywhere else before this planned event. She is expected to perform all songs on the new album, as she did on the recording night.

Working with an established team of musicians from all over the region to put together this 15 track album, is testimony of what God continues to do in the life of this upcoming musician.

“We are excited to confirm the release date of the new album and we look forward to an amazing night as we those who attended the recording night would attest.

“We have decided to launch at home because we are grateful for the support she has received from people in the kingdom and we invite everyone to come through and support her at this event,” said Nxumalo.

The tickets cost E250, including the new CD, which will be available for the first time on that night.
The DVD will also be available for sale at E150 on the night. Companies that purchase a minimum of 20 tickets are allowed to bring their promotional materials and will get special mentions from the MC of the night.

The ticket outlets will be announced shortly but pre-bookings and corporate purchases are available on +26878454219 and Leserato social media pages.
Only 300 tickets are available for sale so the public is urged to secure them early.
