MBABANE – Word!s is rubbing shoulders with big names in the music industry.

Barely three months after South Africa’s jazz legend Themba Mkhize was incorporated into the locally produced podcast known as Word!s, the team has roped in South Africa’s motswako rapper Khuli Chana to be part of the show.

This was revealed by the Word!s anchor Velefini Mngomezulu, who said the rapper agreed after they were part of his entourage in South Africa after being introduced by South Africa’s rapper Towdeemac. Towdeemac is an acquaintance of Mngomezulu in Hip Hop and they have recorded one episode of Word!s together.

Mngomezulu said the rapper was excited to be part of the show as he would also perform at the MTN BUSHFIRE 2018.
“We will sit him down once he is in the country and have one of our conversations with him and this interview will soon be on Word!s,” said Mngomezulu.

He said all this was planned in Chana’s studio in South Africa, where he showed the Word!s team some great hospitality.
“The execution will be done over the coming weekend,” said Mngomezulu.

Word!s is a podcast that started airing early last year on You Tube and it was established by Mngomezulu, Qiniso ‘Slim Q’ Dlamini and Anele Mavimbela. Word!s aims at making conversations which unveil the unknown about personalities and those in the music industry and so far, they have  interviewed  singers Nomalungelo Dladla, Velemseni and lyricist  Illa Penboy.
