YEBO ART, ROYAL VILLAS HOST EXHIBITION OF 24 FINE ARTISTS

MBABANE – Fine artists are also contributing towards the 50/50 celebrations.


As the nation is going to celebrate 50 years of it’s independence, Yebo Art Gallery in conjunction with Royal Villas are to host an exhibition which will see the participation of 24 fine artists.
The event is meant to celebrate Swaziland’s  Independence creatively.


Other activities will include the display of museum photos, launch of CDs, bar and lunches.
The exhibition will open each day from 10am to 5pm and entry is free.
On Saturday, there will be a bar, café and food stalls.


On Sunday, Royal Villas will have a special buffet lunch from 12:30 to 2:30pm and the price is E180 per person.
There will also be a bar and café on the Sunday.


Yebo’s Director and Curator Aleta Armstrong said artists wished to explore and celebrate Independence in a very creative way on this special anniversary.
“There will be over forty new works of art including  sculptures, photographs, paintings, drawings and installations which will provide a thought provoking exhibition as we view Independence through the artists eyes.


“This will be a very interesting exhibition along with our partners and we look forward to seeing everybody there during this special weekend,” she said.
Karol Joszkowski, the GM of Royal Villas said Sharma House under the management of the Royal Villas Hotel, is a luxuriously appointed residence with beautiful gardens and an entertainment hall suitable for 350 guests.
