MBABANE – The life of a YouTube live blogger is all about prompt interviews at interesting venues, but sometimes it’s not all backstage glamour.

Swazi blogger Thulani Dlamini, who is  based in South Africa and  is popularly known as Tusko D, has sued South African rapper Cassper Nyovest  for E3 million. This is allegedly for damages that were caused during the South African Hip Hop  Awards (SAHHA) in December  2017.

Tusko D, who is managed by Rawbust Productions, confirmed these allegations with this publication and stated that the damages were both on himself and his property during an interview with Nyovest.

“The interview turned into a physical confrontation,” alleged Tusko D in an interview with this publication. The allegations have also gone viral on South Africa’s Times Live website and hard copy.

The famous blogger did not wish to further elaborate on the incidents that happened on the night, as lawyers were now dealing with the matter.
According to Zkhiphani and Times Lives website, Rawbust Productions, the company which manages Tusko D, has previously committed to updating other media and fans regarding the matter as per the subject above. On December 20, their lawyers sent the letter of demand to Nyovest which highlighted that Rawbust Productions suffered extensive damages, as that footage that was destroyed during the confrontation was to be sold to several broadcasting companies and was to be uploaded onto YouTube and their own website
“Our client has been able to obtain the services of an IT specialist to retrieve the footage, however, only a partial amount of footage was recovered, being two interviews. We are further advised that the rest of the interviews together with the remainder of the footage covering the event is corrupted and cannot be recovered. A copy of the invoice for the specialist is attached hereto as annexure A,” read the letter of demand according to Zkhiphani website.
