SFNL ARTIST APPLICATIONS EXTENDED

MBABANE – Popularly known as SFNL, Sibebe Friday Night Live is back, bigger and better! 

Local artists who are ardent about participating at the renowned Sibebe Friday Night Live (SFNL) Season 7 are in luck. This is because the registration date has been extended from January 26 to January 31. Due  to the large number of applications, the SFNL team has exceeded the submissions limit before deadline and therefore artists are now advised to apply online for a smooth application process through submitting their applications to sfnlsubmissions@gmail.com.

This is an initiative that is Swaziland’s premier at showcasing support, development and growth of performing artists in the country. The event has played a major role in providing the much needed exposure to most of Swaziland’s emerging acts while contributing to the evolving Swazi arts industry and the broader creative economy. The first show for this year is set for February 16.

House on Fire Communications Manager Noncedo Dlamini confirmed this new information.
“The reason why we extended the dates is because of the string of holidays that the country has seen. Artists did not get the chance to register so we are giving them the platform to have ample time to register,” said Dlamini.
