SMALLZ IN E60 000 ACTING DEAL

MBABANE – Smallz is making money moves. Lungelo Gina, otherwise known as Smallz in the entertainment scene is busy taking over the South African Entertainment scene as he is starring in the new sitcom (comedy show) known as ‘ The Neighbors’ which will air on DSTV’s Mzansi Magic soon.

The local comedian, who has been hard at work, coming in and out of the country and also landing one of his big breaks performing in Botswana the previous year for their Independent Day celebrations, is one of the casts among other celebrated comedians in the sitcom.
The funny guy is playing a character of a Swazi traditional healer.

Comedians

These comedians include the likes of Khanyisa Bunu from South Africa, Simba Kokora from Zimbabwe, Odizzy Omuzibu from Uganda and Bofihla Neko from Lesotho.
In between breaks from filming the sitcom, Smallz has been performing around Johannesburg, his latest show being at Rustenburg’s Grands Café, where he shared a stage with Khanyisa, Trevor Gumbi, Prins and Tall Ass Mo.

The local comedian revealed that he had signed a three months contract and will be making over E60 000.
He is currently enjoying other benefits while shooting such as using the company car and housing allowance. 
 “I am thrilled at the new venture that my career is headed towards because I am not just a comedian, but an entertainer hence I have decided to take up acting,” he said.

He added, “I have met wonderful people during filming who have helped contribute to the growth that Smallz as a brand is going through.
