RASMOOLAH FOR FESTIVAL SUR LE NIGER 2018

MBABANE - Even in the reggae manner, we still prove that Swazi talent is invincible.


The 14th edition of Festival Sur Le Niger will see Swazi reggae artist Rasmoolah performing in it.
This was revealed by the artist, who is also a former SWAMA executive member, after landing from Ivory Coast from a music seminar.
The festival is set for February 1- 4 2018,  at Seagou7 in Mali and it is themed ‘Segou, City of Architecture’.


Rasmoolah will be among the 57 groups who will be performing in song.
Given the current situation of Mali and in accordance with its 2017 to 2019 vision with the festival format called ‘Culture and Citizenship Edition’, the activities of this 14th edition will focus on themes of peace, education, reconciliation, social cohesion and citizenship. It will open up more to other disciplines such as theatre, storytelling, dance, art education and cinema.


Visual Arts with international exhibitions and national arts exhibitions on various themes with workshops and master classes will also be available.
Rasmoolah clenched this deal while he was at Ivory Coast and he said that he was proud to be part of this big event.
“This means a lot to me, I will make Swaziland proud,” he said.
