MBABANE – If you will be attending the Swazi Mobile/Umlilo Gospel Crossover, you are guaranteed to get free airtime.

The fast growing mobile network company will be giving free airtime worth E10 to all its customers who will attend this year’s crossover. The show will take place at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre on December 31.

Massive

The massive show is normally attended by over 15 000 gospel music lovers. Expected to perform on this year’s stage is queen of South Africa’s gospel music Rebecca Malope and Tshwane Gospel Choir. Gospel music lovers are expected to purchase a ticket worth E50 and upon arrival at the venue, the music lovers will receive E10 airtime. Tickets are already available in all Swazi Mobile Experience Centres, OK Stores, Mgavuza Record Bars and Nandos outlets. VIP tickets are also available for the first time this year and cost E200. These tickets are available only at Nandos outlets.

Preparations

Mduduzi ‘Gawuzela’ Simelane, director of Umlilo Music, said preparations for the show were already at an advanced stage. “Music lovers have been asking me about ticket availability, so I am glad they are finally out,” added Simelane.
He confirmed that all the artists on the line-up will be there and will each give their best live performance, as they assure they will do same in the New Year.  “What is important is that music lovers should buy the tickets at the outlets to avoid the long queue that we usually experience on the day. It becomes easy when one comes with a ticket at the entrance,” he said.

Disappointed

He also warned music lovers not to buy tickets sold on the streets as they will be disappointed at the entrance. “There are people who turn to forge the tickets and sell them at a low price. ‘‘The tickets we are selling have high security features. Those who will buy forged tickets will not make it through to the show,” he warned his fans. Gates open at 4pm while the show starts at 6pm.
