MANZINI – Gospel music lovers will dance all the way into the New Year as 41 artists will share the stage during the Siyewela Gospel Music Crossover Festival.

The crossover show is being organised by the Association of Christian Artists in Swaziland (ACASWA).
During the festival launch yesterday morning, ACASWA unveiled a list of 41 artists who are expected to be part of the festival to be held at the Prince of Wales Sports Ground in Mbabane.

Unpacking the festival, ACASWA President Mzwakhe Myeni said the association felt it should bring artists together with their fans, in one venue to usher in 2018 with praise and worship songs.
Myeni said preparations were already at an advanced stage urging gospel music lovers to attend the show.
“All is set for December 3,  we will all be shouting in one voice, ‘Siyewela’,which simply means we are crossing over into a New Year ,” he said.

He mentioned names of some of the artists who would be performing and these include Shongwe and Khuphuka, Nduduzo Matse, Phathwakahle, Mayibongwe Mthimkhulu, Police Gospel Messengers, Police Male Voice and Make Maculuve to name just a few.
These artists are all under ACASWA .

“All the artists have confirmed their participation and I must say music lovers will have fun on the night. There is absolutely no reason to miss this show,” he said.

Myeni said free transport would be available for music lovers. The designated places for the buses to pickup those who will attend the event will be unveiled in due course.
