KWAITO SINGER TAKEN TO COURT FOR E879 DEBT

MBABANE – Barely two weeks after he was spotted as an up and rising Kwaito star, Maqhawe ‘Chawuringo’ Dlamini is being taken to court for owing E879.


The ‘Smomondiya’ hitmaker is being taken to court by Lilangeni Corporate Services for not complying with their agreement by not paying back money which he owed to the company.


The company lent the money to Chawuringo on May 9, 2014. Lilangeni Corporate Services is a registered company which has among its objectives, that of money lending.
According to the particulars of the claim which were filed at the magistrates court, the kwaito star has breached a contract in that he has failed to repay E879 on and/or the agreed period.


Demands


It is also alleged that despite several demands by Lilangeni Corporate Services to the kwaito star who hails from KaLogoba in Matsapha, to repay the owed money, he refused and/or neglected to repay the above monies.  
Also, the company has claimed interest of 6 per cent per annum, cost of the suit and for alternative relief costs.
Chawuringo is yet to appear in court.
