MBABANE – It is going to be one hell of a party at the Swaziland International Trade Fair.
Ten local artists have been confirmed to perform at the 49th edition of the Swaziland International Trade Fair. Nine of these artists were engaged through SWAMA and would be sharing E96 000.

The artists though will not be paid evenly as the payment fees have been allocated based on the type of performer.

Performers

This was revealed by SWAMA PRO Menzi Mthethwa, who said live performers would be given E14 500. These are performers with a live band.
Artists who will perform using a backing track will be paid E5 000 while deejays will be paid E4 500. Ranging from popularity and experience other artists will be paid E12 000, according to Mthethwa.
The local artists lined up for the trade fair which kicks off on September 1 to September 11 are Siyinqaba, Nomalungelo, Symphony, Chakalaka, Mandisa, Loma Soul, DJ MBO, Master P, Touch of Soul and country duo Dusty and Stones.
SIPA’s Sihle Nkabindze confirmed this line-up.

Finalising

He further added that they were in the process of finalising the contracts of the gospel acts that will be entertaining gospel fanatics during the gospel Sunday edition of the trade fair.
Probed on the international acts that are already known to this publication, Nkabindze confirmed their names but revealed that they had not yet signed their contracts and for this reason their names could not be revealed to the public until the contracts return from the South African artists.
