ZANDILE SIMELANE RUBS SHOULDERS WITH SA’S HLUBI MBOYA

MBABANE - She is definitely a force to reckon with.


There isn’t anyone or anything that will come in the way of HIV Activist, Zandile Simelane as her story will be told to  hundreds of people during the International AIDS Society that will be held in Paris.
She revealed this great news to her social media followers where she posted a series of pictures while training at a gym with South African celebrated personality, Hlubi Mboya who features briefly in the documentary.


The International AIDS Society is a conference on HIV Science and is the largest open scientific conference on HIV and AIDS related issues. More than 6000 professionals from all around the world will convene at International AIDS Society 2017 to examine the latest scientific developments in HIV related research with the focus on moving science into practice and policy.


“Amazing working this team @CRC @makhulu Hlubi Mboya...This has been a great opportunity to tell my story which will be shown at the International AIDS Society in Paris #HIV&Positive #StoryTelling #PowerfulImpact #YouthActivism,” read the post that was accompanied by a series of pictures that Simelane posted on her social media.


Being HIV positive is a manageable chronic disease. Zandile Simelane who is now an HIV activist explained to Drum Magazine about how she learnt of her status and how she embraced her changed life.
Quoted in Drum Magazine a few months ago when Simelane opened up to them, she said that she did the test at a clinic she regularly passed on her way to school and she did not expect the result.
