CASAMBO JAM SESSION TO HOST DJ MASTER P

MBABANE – The next instalment of the Casambo Jam Session is scheduled to take place in Nelspruit on  June 25, 2017 at Casambo Exclusive Guest Lodge, a four star lodge owned and run by Carol Sanderson and her husband and business partner, Sambo Sanderson – hence the lodge being named ‘Casambo’ – a combination of both their names.

 The Casambo Jam Session is a music, art and business festival aimed at showcasing and empowering young local creatives and entrepreneurs hosted at Casambo Lodge. It has live music, stalls, art, poetry and dance. Gates open at 10am and the music performances begin at 3pm. The sessions take place on the last Sunday of every month and are in partnership with Ligwalagwala FM.

The invitation to host Master P comes shortly after he has been hosted at Coconuts Club in Maputo for the Alive Festival and, more recently, at the Bush Fire Festival. This phenomenal DJ is truly aiming to go all the way up and this can be witnessed through his recent accomplishments. His latest single, Phenomenal Party, has risen up the SBIS charts and is currently at number one, where his fans predicted it would ultimately land. He has recently been nominated under the MTN SWAMA category of DJ of the Year.

When asked for his comment on this new feat, he expressed himself as follows, “This is an indication that the Master P brand has a loyal following and this is something I do not take for granted. It fuels my desire to succeed and not only live up to, but supersede the expectations of the Master P family. Right now, I am focused on getting those by the truckload so that I can add ‘award-winning DJ’ to my resume.” When probed about near future plans, the inked DJ alluded to the fact that growing the brand to stratospheric levels was item number one on his strategy.
