SOUL BROTHERS GIVE OVER 600 FANS VALUE FOR MONEY
EZULWINI – The rain tried but failed to stop what was termed as one of the strongest and powerful performances by South African Mbhaqanga music legends Soul Brothers.
The group gave what classified as their best performance throughout the night. During their show held at the Boma Restaurant at Timbali Lodge in Ezulwini on Sunday night.
The restaurant was fully packed with over 600 music lovers coming together to dance to the mbhaqanga music legends.
The group’s fans came in their numbers, braving the cold and wet weather, as they claimed that they knew that Soul Brothers would give them real soul music. Indeed the group led by Moses ‘Black Moses’ Ngwenya did not disappoint as it was at its best giving out a thrilling and energetic six hour performance.
Performing
Some of the fans who had not watched the group performing live since the passing away of its leader David Masondo were keen to see if it was still the Soul Brothers they knew.
Mbhaqanga music lovers came as early as 6pm as they wanted to have a better view of the stage.
Just after 7pm, heavy rain started to flow. However, this did not stop the fans who were still arriving at the venue
The organisers of the show made sure that the rain did not affect the group’s performance as they pitched a tent protecting the stage from the rain as the show was at an outdoor area.
The group’s pianist Moses ‘Black Moses’ Ngwenya went on stage just after 8:30pm and told the fans to be ready to dance throughout the night.
