MBABANE – Have you subscribed to DSTV yet? Because local comedian Mdura will be gracing our  silver screens soon.

This comes after the local comedian was scouted by Site et Sons Media Productions who were behind organising the Heavy Weights Comedy Show that the comedian was performing at this past weekend alongside well known comedians such as Kansime and Thenjiwe.

The talented comedian will be a part of a new upcoming sitcom series titled The Nkhambules. Mdura’s Agency, Tall Tree Talent Management’s Larry Mhlanga expressed his gratitude towards the Media Production house in granting the local comedian the opportunity to explore his talents.

Opportunity

“There are not enough words to use to thank Site et Sons for the opportunity that they have given Mdura. As we all know that the comedy industry in the country is growing immensely, with a number of people breaking into the industry. We are proud to see that we are getting recognition for the hard work that we put in in shaping and grooming our talent,” said Mhlanga.
The local comedian has had the privilege to share a stage with other African greats in the comedy industry.

Ambitious

According to Mhlanga, this has helped him to be more ambitious about his career and it has also helped him sharpen his comedy skills throughout his journey.

“We are very excited about his new journey, as it came as a good surprise to us as Tall Tree Talent Management and Mdura. We look forward to seeing a Swazi comedian showcase his talents on  South Africa’s national TV platform  SABC.

Mdura will be part of the main cast, which will start shooting the first episode this coming weekend in Pretoria.

Broadcasted

‘‘More information about the sitcom will be revealed soon and we will definitely alert the public  just before the sitcom gets broadcasted on TV,” added Mhlanga.
