MBABANE – One would have sworn Michael Jackson had resurrected from the dead and ambushed Sidwashini folk this weekend.

This is judging by the hype that local duo Siyinqaba caused in the  Mbabane township  during the Swazi Boy Kasi Tour which was held at Sidwashini on Saturday afternoon.

Fans could not believe their luck as they mingled with the artists they always see in the media and they just could not contain their excitement.
Swazi Boy having given unearthed talent from townships in Mbabane the opportunity to showcase their rap skills, then surprised the Sidwashini folk with performances by Lyrical Bust and Ncwiki, Illa Penboy and Siyinqaba.

Performances

All the performances were spectacular on the day but none like Siyinqaba’s which had fans begging for more.
The fans got carried away during the duo’s performance such that they would grab KrTC’s mic as he performed along with Mozaik, requesting their favourite song Gwayimane.
This song proves show after show to be one of the most popular songs to have come out of Swaziland.
Not disappointing their fans Siyinqaba performed the song not once but twice, at the request for an encore. This had fans dancing and singing along to the well-known tune.

Support

Lyrical Busta and Ncwiki also had fans dancing to their song Sibebe and as they were performing on stage the patrons lifted their Sibebe beer bottles, showing support to the  original Swazi brew.

Illa Penboy also had the fans singing along to his song Bhekumuzi Mahlalela.
