MBABANE - If you are an ACASWA member and have not yet paid your yearly subscription, you stand to lose all the association’s benefits as your membership will be revoked.

ACASWA is the mother body of all gospel artists in the country and has over 400 members.
The association, led by Zakhele Ginindza of the Police Gospel Messengers, is currently on a mission of collecting subscriptions from all its members.
Each group or artist is expected to pay a sum of E400 and the subscription fee lasts for a year.

Subscriptions

The association’s members have up to the end of next month to pay their subscriptions and failure to do that they will no longer be part of ACASWA.
They stand to lose some of the benefits which include participating in events where ACASWA is involved.
Ronnie Dlamini, ACASWA Public Relations Officer (PRO), said as an association, they were working on their yearly plans and it was one of the reasons why they encouraged all groups and individual artists to pay subscriptions.
“As an association, we have great plans and some of them we have already started working on. The subscription will help us to be able to pursue some of the things we are planning. If they do not pay their subscriptions, their membership will be revoked,” he said.

Artists

Dlamini also said they still welcome other artists who still want to be part of the association.
“Those who have never been members of ACASWA are welcome to join the family.
We are aware that there are other artists who still want to register. I am sure they will enjoy the benefits of being part of the association,” he said.
