AMANDA SIZZLES ON COSMOPOLITAN COVER

MBABANE – She has appeared in a number of glossy magazines but this is by far Amanda Du Pont’s most glamourous cover yet!

The Swazi-born actress and TV presenter is the cover star for this month’s South African issue of the glossy fashion and lifestyle bible Cosmopolitan magazine.
Looking dewy fresh in minimal make-up and sexy in her Forever New bodysuit, the star is continuously raising the Swazi flag.

In her in depth interview, Amanda talks proudly about her working ethic instilled into her by her parents in Swaziland-businessman Tum and Antoinette Du Pont. She tells Cosmopolitan that the pressures of growing up at Sidvokodvo in a well established family business meant that her parents were at first very sceptical about her career choice.
“Of course they did not see it as a good career choice at first until neighbours would start telling them and say they saw me in a certain TV programme and that is when they realised, this is big,” said Du Pont.

Greatest

She also opens up about her love-life to new beau Shawn who she says is one of  her greatest motivators.
She, however, shied away from talking about her lovelife as she said she has learnt from her past public relationships with Jub Jub and Cassper Nyovest to keep some things private.
The beauty also attributed her latest natural make-up look and natural curly hair to her boyfriend, who encouraged her to ditch the weaves and show off her beautiful natural curly locks.

 “I did not always embrace my natural texture, now I could not be happier,” she added.
Du Pont is currently co-hosting the BET A-list with Amanda Thabethe and has a long running role in the SABC soapie Skeem Saam as the villainous Lelo.

Dramas

She has also had her share of roles in TV dramas such as Biting About, The Man Cave and many more.
Not only is she an actress but she has taken a route into fashion this year with her shoe line collection with Footwork and is one of the brand ambassadors of Adidas Sportswear. 

Golden

The latest Cosmopolitan cover is the actress’s first cover on an international magazine which will give the Swazi golden girl an even wider fan base and platform.
 She has also been the cover star for South African magazines such as BONA, Drum and Move.
