BISHOP MPENDULO VENTURES INTO MUSIC

MBABANE – His calling has always been to preach, build churches and also pray for the sick and needy.

This time around he has ventured into the music industry as a recording artist.
This is none other than Bishop Mpendulo Nkambule, who has since released his first album titled ‘Shwele Gazi’.

The bishop’s album has been produced by businesswoman Zanele Mbokazi, who happens to be his wife.
Mbokazi is the founder of the SABC Crown Gospel Awards. The 12-track album is distributed through the Word Gospel Power House, a company directed by Mbokazi.

Nkambule’s album was unveiled during the ‘Back to the Cross’ services held last week.
Unveiling the project was Mbokazi, who mentioned that the bishop had taken a decision of becoming an artist. On the CD, Nkambule has also featured a house track titled ‘The Bishop’s Decree’.

On this track he claims to be telling the youth to consider accepting Jesus Christ.
Other songs on the album are ‘Ngiyamethemba OwaseCalvary’, ‘Shwele Gazi’, ‘Jerusalem Elisha’, ‘Jesu Mangiphathwe’, ‘My Soul’, ‘Akanamandla’, ‘Edlebeni Yokholwayo’, ‘Sermon’, ‘Akekho Onjengawe’, ‘Wangethula Umtfwalo’ and ‘Lord You are Worthy’.

Preacher

The bishop, who is the founder and leader of the Word of Hope Ministries, mentioned that he is not just an artist, but a preacher of the Word.
“Growing up I was told so many times that I cannot sing and believe me that is true. However, through these songs I am expressing and telling a story of the greatness of God from my heart,” he said.
