MBABANE - Gospel music lovers and Christians woke up to a false report claiming an accident involving country’s two gospel artists.

The hoax report, which circulated in the social networks, claimed that Reverend Vusi Maculuve and Zaga Dlamini where fighting for their lives at the Raleigh Fitkin Memorial (RFM) Hospital after being involved in a nasty accident which claimed the life of two female passengers.

The report alleged that Zaga and Maculuve were in the company of two females when they were involved in an accident while at Try Cash in Sidvokodvo. It is said that the accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon.
The news started circulating on Tuesday evening and this  disturbed the artists and their families.

Maculuve said he was not aware about the hoax report until a friend visited his house at Kwaluseni on Tuesday night.
“The friend wanted to know the name of the hospital so he could check me. He was surprised to find me in the house. I then started receiving calls from family members, artists, pastors and church members who were all concerned about the reports,” he said.

He said this shocked him because he did not understand the reason why someone would do such a thing.
“This is disturbing and I urge those who did this to stop it as it is not good at all,” he said.  He assured all his fans that he was alive and would continue singing and preaching the good news as long as he is alive,” he said.
Also disturbed was Zaga who said people should not do such as it brings a lot of emotions, especially to their families.

“I am really disturbed. I do not know why people decided to do such. I urge the public not to do such because it is really disturbing,” he said.
