MBABANE – There will be no rest for local artists as we approach the festive  season as they will be all over the country and outside entertaining fun lovers.

Mbongiseni ‘Bholoja’ Ngubane who has fairly had a busy year performing in and out of the country, and also hosting his first ever Yebo Mzala yebo Gogo music Festival, will be performing alongside other renowned South African musicians during the Mpumalanga Cultural Festival  to be held in December 2016.

Last week, Bholoja attended the unveiling of the new log for the upcoming cultural festival. The new look differs from the previous one as the festival will now be called ‘Mpumalanga Cultural Experience.’

The Mpumalanga sports and culture MEC, Norah Mhlangu-Mabena, said the reason they did not call the upcoming December 2016 event a ‘Festival’ was because in South Africa there were so many festivals so this time they were calling it an ‘experience’, where people are invited to come and experience the various cultures of the diverse people of the province.

Ndebele, siSwati, English and Afrikaans is promoted in the logo as well as the Mpumalanga province ‘as a place of the rising sun.’
The MEC said the December festival to be held at the Mbombela Stadium will bring vibrancy to the city and excellence of the province.
The festival will be presented over a period of three days and will feature comedy, music and traditional dance.
