BATTLE OF THE GENRES WITH DJ MBO AND KRTC

MBABANE – DJ Mbo and KrTC, two of the country’s best acts are collaborating to host what could possibly be one of the biggest shows in showbiz.

This will be the ultimate battle between two dominating genres in the country’s house and hip-hop music. The show is titled Mortal Kombat (MK) and is a presentation of the nature of the music game.

According to the artists, the name of the show was derived from their first initials M and K, and from there Mortal Kombat was born.
“Unlike the shows people are normally are used to, Swaziland will be experiencing a head to head, blow by blow of the best of both worlds.

Everybody knows a battle of this kind cannot possibly be fought alone; each camp will bring in its best soldiers to totally wipeout the enemy. So hip hop lovers and house fans must not miss it,” said DJ MBO.

The battle ground will be Déjà Vu, Esibayeni Lodge on October 29, 2016. The spectacular act will cost E50 and the battle begins at 6pm.
The two artists have been in the music industry for slightly over a decade. In the course of the years, they developed an interest in each other’s genres. DJ MBO has successfully held it down in the house music genre which has seen him jetting off to Las Vegas to compete with international DJs.

Hip hop and lyrical master KrTC has successfully kept his brand alive for over 10 years in the game. This year he was part of the YALI leadership programme hosted in Indiana, and radio and TV personalities have described him as someone who brought local hip hop to life.
