MBABANE – Only females made it into the top four of Swazi TV’s reality show, TV Star.
The show was about the search for new continuity presenters for Swazi TV which started more than three months back. The winners are Samkelisiwe Mabuza (19), Similo Hadebe (19), Nompumelelo Manana (20) and Nobuhle Ngwenya (20).

The four were chosen through votes from the public from the top 10. The top10 consisted of only two guys who did not make it into the top four.

They were unveiled yesterday night during the grand finale episode of the show.
Swazi TV’s Head of Production Welile Masuku said the four would be groomed for two weeks and would start working for the television station as continuity presenters.

The search for continuity presenters started with regional eliminations. Close to 300 hopefuls took part in these auditions and 30 were chosen. These took part in a retreat where they did challenges to test other skills. The public decided who to eliminate for the next few weeks until the top four were chosen.
This is what the winners had to say after they were chosen from the top 10.
