BIG GAME PARKS SPONSORS T55 WITH FREE ACCOMMODATION

MANZINI - T55 Talent Search Competition has partnered with Big Game Parks Swaziland, who have sponsored free accommodation to the auditioning team as they move from region to region.

Big Game Parks PRO Melusi ‘Zox’ Dlamini, said they had decided to partner with T55 Talent Search Competition, as art is one of the best ways to teach people about nature conservation. “It is really all well and good to talk about nature conservation but through music and poetry we can really get the message across .We therefore decided to partner in this great initiative by SWAMA inorder to bring local talent to the forefront.”

As part of the sponsorship agreement the top five contestants shall unite to compose a SiSwati song titled ‘Imvelo Yakitsi’. This song is meant to send a message about nature conservation to the people and the song will be performed during the grand finale. Leading to the grand finale, part of the tasks given to the top five contestants shall also be centred on nature conservation. SWAMA president Lutfo Dlamini thanked Big Game Parks and said this would go a long way in ensuring that they professionally execute the T55 Talent Search project, effectively and successfully.

“We would like to extend our gratitude to Big Game Parks for the support towards this initiative. This is not just a contribution to theT55 project but also to the development of the music and arts industry as well as the economy of the Kingdom of Swaziland,” said Dlamini.

Also present during the presentation was Swaziland National Arts and Culture (SNCAC) CEO Stanley Dlamini, who thanked Big Game Parks for recognising arts in Swaziland. “To see nature and arts blend together in this capacity is commendable. Swaziland is all about conserving nature and we respect it too. One must not forget that some of the instruments used in the olden days were homemade, from trees etc.
