TWO COMPANIES FOR E3.2M SMVAF TENDERS

MBABANE – Two local companies have emerged the best evaluated bidders for the proposed completion of Sincephetelo Motor Vehicle Accident Fund (SMVAF) offices.

The two companies are MDB Style Form Joint Venture (JV) and Obtuse Electrical and the intention is to award them to contracts for construction works and electrical works. The proposed contract price for the construction works intended for MDB Style Form JV is E2 047 210.95 and for the electrical works is set at E1 249 794.67.

MDB Style Form JV was competing for the tender with at least 12 other local constructors which were outpriced, while some were technically non-responsive. Meanwhile, Obtuse Electrical was contesting with Indlalifa Investments and Ignite Electrical and both were technically non-responsive.

The Sincephetelo MVA Fund has appointed the Ministry of Economic Planning and Development, Microprojects Programme (MPP) as the implementing agency for the proposed completion of offices at Lot 521, Mbhilibhi Street, Mbabane.
