45 COMPANIES TO CREATE 90 JOBS

MBABANE -  Recently, the SEDCO facilitated 45 company registrations that have the potential of creating 90 employment opportunities for emaSwati within various sectors.

Through its legal division, the Small Enterprises Development Company (SEDCO) continues to offer business support interventions by facilitating company registrations for businesses operating in various sectors including, manufacturing, agribusiness, consultancy and construction. SEDCO Chief Executive Officer Khethiwe Mhlanga confirmed the latest developments.

Simple

Company registration is a simple process that takes no more than seven days. To register a business as a company, the requirements include three company names in order of preference, company objectives, a postal address,  shares, contacts, director’s names, certified copies of their identity cards and their graded tax numbers. SEDCO also assists business owners to acquire and renew trading licences. Acquiring a trading licence varies depending on the sector your business is under, location and the nature of the licence.

Submit

Trading licence applicants are required to fill in an application form and submit it to the licensing officer. Advertisement for the licence is done within three working days and a trading licence can be obtainable within the three working days. The advertising fee is E50 payable at the revenue office of that particular region.
