GOVT BMW ESCORT CARS VALUED AT OVER E2.4M

MBABANE – The 67 government BMW escort cars to be auctioned on December 15, 2020 are valued at over E2.4 million. 

The highly-priced of these vehicles are six BMW 528I with a reserve price of E80 000 and they have mileages not exceeding 44 000kilometres. They are all in good running condition except for minor mechanical conditions.

The lowest reserve price is the BMW 1150cc motor bike at E3 000 and it is a non-runner with no specific mileage.  

All vehicles on auction are sold subject to reserve prices as stipulated per vehicle and no bids less than the reserve price will be accepted.

These are some of the auction conditions that were shared by Swazi Auctioneers’ Sakhile Ndzimandze. He highlighted that the highest bidder at the end of the bidding shall be the purchaser and the auctioneer does not hold himself or the seller responsible for any errors in description. 

“A bid shall be taken as proof that the bidder has made him/herself acquainted with the lots for which they are bidding for. No vehicle or motor bike may be removed from the premises prior to being paid for in full. No fixing of vehicles on site is allowed,” he shared. Ndzimandze also highlighted that there would be no registration at the auction venue and the registration deposit shall be credited into the buyer’s invoice upon successful bidding.  In the event of unsuccessful bidders, it shall be refunded in full. However, for successful bidders who fail to pay for purchased lots by the end of the payment deadline, he/she/they shall forfeit the deposit amount paid.

In terms of payment and collection, Ndzimandze said all vehicles must be paid for in full and collected by not later than1pm on December 19, 2020. Failure to pay within the stipulated date shall result in the cancellation of the bid and no exception will be made once the bid has been cancelled.

Some of the auction conditions:

All bids exclude VAT. VAT will not be charged.8.5 per cent buyers premium will be charged on all purchases.

All vehicles are sold “VOESTOOTS” (AS IS).

Auction is open to all people regardless of their, colour, health status, gender, nationality, and or religious beliefs. 

A refundable deposit of E10 000 for single purchases and E30 000 for multiple purchases shall be payable upon registration at our offices being: Suite 5b Valley View Center, Ezulwini opposite Cashbuild Ezulwini above Nandos.
