MBABANE – Bidders had it easy at the Nedbank auction.  All vehicles at the Nedbank auction were sold at their reserve prices as there was no competition among the 15 bidders who attended the public sale on Tuesday morning.

Rexy’s Investments conducted the sale of used vehicles in good running condition on behalf of commercial bank.
The priciest vehicle that went under the hammer was a good-as-new Hyundai Tucson 2.0 Elite Auto, which had travelled for 68 024 kilometres. It was sold for E290 000, which had been its reserve price.

The lowest buy was a non-runner Kia drop side K2700 mini truck which sold for only E5 000.
Other vehicles that had been placed on the market included two Ford Ranger bakkies and a Toyota Rav4, which however went unsold.

“If you are interested at the available motor vehicles, you can still make offers by contacting our offices,” announced Auctioneer Melusi Qwabe.
Rexy’s Investments (PTY) LTD had invited bidders to the auction, which was held at AFRITOOL, Sidwashini (past Interfreight opposite World Vision) yard from 10:30am. The bidding process lasted for about 20 minutes.

Bidders who were interested at participating in the auction were made to pay a refundable deposit of E3 000.
Qwabe said what made the vehicles a viable buy for bidders from all over the country was the fact that most of the vehicles were in good condition.
