E11 MILLION FARM TO GO UNDER THE HAMMER

MBABANE – Property developers and farmers are presented with an opportunity to invest in a 223.4-hectare farm worth E11 million.


 The farm is set to go under the hammer outside the High Court of the country tomorrow. It is on portion 2 of Farm 513, Big Bend, in the Lubombo Region.
According to an advert placed by the Deputy Sherriff, the auction shall be conducted at 11:30am and the property has a reserve price of E11 658 000.


The auction follows a verdict on the matter between Interneuron (Swaziland) (Pty) Ltd and Nunes (Pty) Ltd.
Accessible
The farm could be suitable for sugarcane production as it was used for sugarcane farming by its previous owners. It measures 223.4012 hectare, is gentle sloping and it is accessible through a gravel road.
“The site is fenced with barbed wire and it is situated about one kilometre from Matata Shopping Complex.”


According to its valuation report, water is accessed from Usuthu River while there is also a railway line running through the property. Improvements on the property consist of a house with five bedrooms, lounge, dining room, kitchen, double garage and a laundry. It also has a house that comprises three bedrooms, lounge, kitchen and two bathrooms. Other additional properties on the farm are semi-detached dormitories, dip tank, swimming pool, carport, office laundry and chicken shed.
