OFFICE BUILDING SOLD FOR E927 000

MBABANE – The office building at Ngwenya went under the hammer for E927 000 while the property in Dalraich failed to attract bids.


The two properties were availed to the market by public auction at the High Court of Eswatini on Friday after having failed to attract bids in previous auctions.
The auction, which was attended by only three people, was conducted by Deputy Sheriff David Magagula.


The office building was being sold pursuant to a writ of execution in the matter between First National Bank (FNB) and Kapson Investment (Pty) Ltd.
The property measures 2670 square metres. It has a wall fence with palisades.
The structure, with four offices and a conference room, is located at portion number 60 of farm number 1 209 at Ngwenya.
Suitable


The plot, which has half of vacant land suitable for the construction of either a house or more offices, sits on a plot measuring 2 670 square metres.
The property has adequate parking space with car ports that could accommodate up to eight motor vehicles and air conditioned rooms including the reception area.  


The office space that could accommodate up to 10 employees has a reserve price of E900 000.
Meanwhile, the Dalraich property includes a double-storey, three-bedroom house, a cottage and a detached two-bedroom house.
The property which sits on land measuring 2 000 square metres has a reserve price of E2.1 million.


The house was being sold after a writ of attachment was issued in the matter between First National Bank and Odelle Adams.
The houses sits on the remaining extent of portion 379 (a portion of Portion 52) of Farm Dalraich No.188 on land measuring 2 000 square metres.
The conditions of sale included that the purchaser would be expected to pay a deposit of 10 per cent of the purchase price upon the fall of the hammer, immediately after being called to do so by the auctioneer.
