MBABANE – If you dreamt of owning property in Dalraich, you still stand a chance to achieve your goal.

This follows the unsuccessful auction of the property which failed to attract bids during a public auction on Friday.
The property which includes a double-storey, three-bedroom house, a cottage and a detached two-bedroom house, which sits on land measuring 2 000 square metres had a reserve price of E2.1 million.

The public auction was conducted by David Magagula at the High Court from 10.30 am.
The property was being sold after a writ of attachment was issued in the matter between First National Bank and Odelle Adams.
The houses sit on the remaining extent of portion 379 (a portion of portion 52) of Farm Dalraich No.188.

The conditions of sale include that the purchaser should pay a deposit of 10 per cent of the purchase price upon the fall of the hammer, immediately after being called to do so by the auctioneer. The balance against transfer shall be secured by a bank of Building Society guarantee, and is to be furnished to Adams’ attorney within 21 days after the date of sale.

The purchaser was also required to pay auctioneer’s charges on the day of sale, and in addition, transfer duties, costs of transfer and arrear rates, taxes and other charges necessary to effect transfer.
