MBABANE – Property development punters were at their highest ebb as they made offers to grab the business presented by a properties auction on Friday.

Two relatively new residential properties in good condition were bidded for at Fairview North Plot 932, Mbuluzi Crescent –Manzini.
Swazi Auctioneers conducted the fairly attended auction on instruction of the Bhubhudla Family Trust.

Director Sakhile Ndzimandze, who had earlier advised that both properties were a viable investment since they were well maintained, managed to rake in E2 890 000 from the auction.
The three-bedroom houses, both of whom have master bedrooms ensuite and are secure, considering that they have a wall fence, electric fence and a gate, were auctioned for different reserve prices with full conditions of the sale which were available on request by interested bidders.

The first property which which has only one three-bedroom house with a double roll up garage, was sold for E1 490 000 while the second three-bedroom house with a double garage and one bedroom flat with a lounge, bedroom and kitchen managed to attract an offer of E1.4 million.

“The offer of E1.4 million is subject to confirmation by the owner,” said Ndzimandze.
The reserve price for the three-bedroom house was E1 450 000 while the second house (with a one bedroom flat) was up for grabs for E1.6 million.
