Mister Bread sponsors private Silver Jubilee celebrations

LOZITHA His Majesty King Mswati III celebrated his Silver Jubilee and the country’s 43rd independence anniversary in a private ceremony due to the prevailing economic and fiscal crises.
The celebrations were held at the Lozitha Royal Palace on Tuesday evening, which was Indepe-ndence Day.
The event was sponsored by confectionary company, Mister Bread.
Besides sponsoring the dinner gala, the company also baked two large cakes that were inscribed Silver Jubilee and 43rd anniversary.
Spicing up the event, attended by approximately 100 guests including COMESA Secretary General Sindiso Ngwenya, were various entertainment groups from within and outside Swaziland.
International troupes included a Taiwanese cultural group called the 10 Drum Art Percussion and a South African orchestra, Johannesburg Music Initiative (JMI) while the local entertainment included Bholoja, Zaza Dlamini, poet Msandi Nxumalo, gospel musician Sandile Makhanya and Mbabane Methodist Female Choir.
Other local artists who were part of the line-up comprise Nomalungelo Dlamini, Fikile Nxumalo and Challenge Ministries Youth Choir.
Towards the end of the function, Prime Minister Sibusiso Barnabas Dlamini was requested to propose a toast by the Programme Director of the evening King’s Office Chief Officer Bheki Dlamini.
This was before His Majesty cut the cake and made his remarks.
Those who attended the function including the performers had an opportunity to take pictures with the King.
Don’t lose focus on First World status — King
LOZITHA – His Majesty King Mswati III encouraged the nation not to lose focus of attaining First World status, even though the country is facing a lot of challenges, especially the fiscal crisis.
Speaking during the private dinner, the King said as a nation, "we should overcome these challenges because we need to fulfil our dream of reaching First World status."
In order to attain this, His Majesty said the nation needs to be united at all times.
Besides the economic and fiscal challenges, the King pointed out that there were still a number of underprivileged children in the country.
He said in relation to a group of children from Challenge Ministries that is led by Pastor Kevin Ward who performed on the night.
Pastor Ward had told His Majesty that most of the children came from poor backgrounds.
"I would like to commend Pastor Ward for his good deeds. Unlike other pastors who preach a different gospel, he has taught the children good music.
"There voices sound like angels singing. And I would like to thank them for providing entertainment tonight (Tuesday)," His Majesty said.

Enhhe! So the party has begun! Remember whe Mgwagwa said, 'Silver jubilee to be celebrated in style'? The style has been revealed! Kona kuyetfulwa lakaNgwane but wouldn't it have been better if Mister Bread donated loaves of bread to NCPs? Or paid school fees for 10 OVCs who will be their bakers in the future? Why imali iyemalini?

Cha madoda, companies may sponsor such events, lets not run away from such, another thing umlisa is a family man therefore should celebrate if there is a need and if resources are there....lesikwalako kutsi labanye bangacabangeleki ngenca yebantfu laba misleader imbube yemhlaba, bente ngatsi sive siyajabula noma kungasiko njalo.....Lutfo, Minister majozi Prime minister, makhulu baas and some traditional authorities can be singled out as those behind the slow diminishing of peace laka gogo...my wish is they are removed before the effects become too hot to handle.

Okay, some of you say that its okay kutsi Mr Bread can sponsor an event like this. Don't you see kutsi loMr. Bread is just a cover up so that bantfu will think that there was no money spent here. Entertainment from outside borders ( i understand the ones coming from the country ngoba vele bayahlehla), where is that money coming from? Open your eyes people, siya eweni but I thank GOD kutsi nasiyaphansi everyone is going down, I mean literally. The time for action is drawing closer.
