Soul Brothers' member Babsy is dead
MBABANE – Babsy Sikhumbuzo ‘Babas’ Mavuso, who was a member of the much-acclaimed South African Mbhacanga group Soul Brothers, has died.
Mavuso, a Swazi national, was a vocalist in the band.
He will be laid to rest on Sunday, January 15, 2012, at his parental home at Ghobholo in Ms-unduza Township after a vigil.
Mavuso is said to have been sick for quite some time.
According to Mshikishi Mndzebele, who was shocked to learn of his death, Mavuso was a vocalist when with Soul Brothers. "He was third from David Masondo.

"I have shared the stage with Mavuso while he was a member of the band a number of times from 2009," related Mndzebele , sounding mournful.
"Everyone knows we had a Swazi who was with Soul Brothers and I remember one time during a show at Tshaneni Mpala Arms where he even discussed returning to Swaziland to form a music group," Mndzebele recalled.

He said they also once shared a stage in Pigg’s Peak during another show which featured the Soul Brothers.
Mdzebele went on to pass his condolences to the Mavuso family, the deceased’s friends and relatives, the Soul Brothers family, and the Swazi nation at large.
"He went to South Africa in search of greener pastures, and while in that country he was a Swazi representative," Mndzebele said.

I'm sorry for the predicament, I wish the man was a Christian and therefore has now entered eternal rest. To the family, akwehlanga lungehlanga, God's time had come and no doctor could stop it from happening.
