Mageez' to release album next month
MBABANE – Kwaito artist Zakhe ‘Mageez’ Nxumalo will release his debut album titled, ‘The Beauty of Song’.
The album will hit music stores at the end of this month and the artist alerts kwaito fanatics to get hold of it.
The 15-track album is fortified by four hit songs title ‘Kuze Kuse’, ‘Lengoma’, ‘Shisa Nyama’ and a love oriented track named ‘My Darling’.
As a way of trying to sensitise the public, the artist released a promotional single of the song ‘Kuze Kuse’, which is currently enjoying airplay on SBIS.
Produced by Slim-Q Dlamini, the album was mixed and mastered at Rocket Road Studios in Cape Town by Troye, the brains behind the mastering of Big Nuz, Liquideep and Mahoota’s albums.
The artist said the album will be one of the hottest projects in the country as he spent sleepless nights working on it.
"I have worked tirelessly to ensure that my first album is among the best in the country and I hope it will receive the attention and popularity it deserves," he said.
Nxumalo has clinched a deal with Sheer Publishers, and the publishing company will take care of the album’s publishing.
Mageez is a well known figure in the entertainment circles. He started writing songs at the age of 15 and since then, he has let nothing stand in his way.
His highlights include performing at the Baseline in Johannesburg, the recent Hypnotic show in June this year.
"People must stay tuned for my album as it has nothing but the best kwaito vibes," he said.
