Wedding is still on - Frankie

This is despite the fact that it has been well over a year since the socialite stunned the nation with the news that he was going to tie the knot, to an unnamed person.

A year on, all the socialite has seemed to do was play mind games, and leave many guessing whether he meant it or it was just a cry for attention.

The socialite pulled another stunt this past weekend, during an event to celebrate his birthday, by changing into a wedding gown during his party.

However, he has insisted that he is going to get married, although he refuses to give further details.

"The wedding is definitely still on this year with a local person but you will just have to wait and see," said the glamorous socialite on Monday, when asked to explain his decision to wear a wedding gown to Tinker’s nightclub.

The headline grabbing socialite also took the opportunity to drop another bomb, saying his antics did not mean he would get married or marry a male.

"People mistake being flamboyant and colourful with being gay," he said. "Just because I do my nails, have a certain dress code and I am very colourful, people assume that I am gay."

Explaining his Friday outfit, he said he felt he wanted to do something different and wearing the wedding gown did not suggest anything but simply added sparks to the event.

"My close friends and I thought of a new theme and decided that wearing dresses for an hour on the night would be different," he stated.

"I was doing this party for my birthday and I was very happy on the day which is why I am smiling in almost every picture. If anyone is or was offended or has a problem with it then I can’t help them because this party was for me and I enjoyed it."
