MBABANE – The five pupils selected to participate in the Robben Island leg of the Springs Schools Arts Festival have travelled safely to South Africa.

This was confirmed by Inyatsi Schools Arts and Culture Competitions President Ronnie Gamedze, who shared that the delegation will be spending 10 days in South Africa. “We travelled safely, although we faced minor challenges along the way, but we managed to arrive safely. We left on Friday and our seminar will end on October 11, which will be a Sunday. We will have a cultural exchange themed ‘Nurturing future leaders through memory and meaning’,” Gamedze said. “We have the five students who will benefit from this seminar and these students were chosen among the best performing schools during the culture competitions.”

He further explained how the theme will benefit the pupils. “This will help the pupils, especially by grooming them to be tomorrow’s leaders and how they should carry themselves, aligned with elements of respect and vision.
