MANZINI - At just 33, Malibongwe Xaba, the rising star of the Manzini Entrepreneur of the Year Awards (EYA), views his recent win as ‘fuel to the fire’ for his ambitions.

With plans to expand Ehome Africa beyond the borders of the Kingdom of Eswatini, he says he is ready to take the shipping container conversion industry by storm.  Xaba, who was crowned the overall winner of the Manzini Regional Entrepreneur of the Year Awards (EYA) 2025, hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade in collaboration with the Small Enterprises Development Company (SEDCO) and First National Bank (FNB) at The George Hotel, Manzini, yesterday. His business also won the award for being the Manzini Regional Outstanding Green Business. Each of the awards came with a prize of E10 000, which means Xaba is E20 000 richer.

After collecting his awards, he said the milestone marks just the beginning of an exciting journey ahead. He stated that the awards serve as fuel for their mission to create more job opportunities and expand their reach beyond borders.

At Ehome Africa, he explained that they specialise in shipping container conversions for offices, classrooms, boardrooms, kitchens and more. Additionally, they supply and install solar system accessories, provide carpentry services, handle aluminium works and undertake traditional building construction.  “The possibilities are endless as we continue to innovate and grow,” Xaba said.
