MBABANE - The director of Tums Waterworld in Sidvokodvo, Tums Du Pont has revealed their 2026 plans.
The director said that the establishment has made major plans for the year and they are already in action as they already have a well curated show for this coming Valentines day.
"As a venue, tranquility natural green plants are what makes our venue unique. We used to host a lot of events to try and promote local artists but unfortunately, 9/10 there's always disagreements," he said.
Du Pont added that a lot of strain caused the venue to go mum including Covid-19. " The entertainment places were closed as government had instructed us not to move, an establishment like this one takes a long time to recover from that," he said.
The founder of the Tums group also revealed that now they have more interest as he has brought one of his children to the venues General Manager to revive the venue. " We have a number of plans in store. Recently we hosted fillup Fridays. Now we as we approach Valentines day ,we will continue my 70 years celebrations,so this is definitely our way of reviving our economy," he said.
He concluded by stating that he will encourage emaSwati not to give up and bounce back after challenges like COVID-19 and the unrest.
