MALKERNS – Waffles we wanna party!!

Those were some of the words that were coming out of fun lovers’ mouths during the local Amapiano sensations performance at the 19th edition of the MTN Bushfire festival mainstage.

Uncle Waffles is indeed a superstar, as about 15 minutes before she made it to the stage, the festival attendees were already departing from the other stages to ensure that they all get a good view of her on stage.

The DJ played a selection of trending Amapiano hits while her dancers made sure to keep everyone glued to the stage throughout the entire set.

Uncle Waffles at some point, took to the front of the stage, joining her dancers to show off “Zep zep” dance routine.

In an Interview with the superstar after her performance, she stated that she usually holds back, but today was different. “I am usually a lot more reserved, but l tried my best to smile more and be happier,” she said.

When asked how to describe her performance, she said “the performance felt warm,” that everyone felt so excited to be there.

Waffles also highlighted that creator in the kingdom do not get much exposure and her success was something that she wants them to always remember. “When you’re a creative in Eswatini you have to be strong, really strong, so l fought so that everyone else sees it’s possible,” she said.
