MBABANE – South African musician and DJ Young is set to perform in the kingdom during a soul and RnB picnic experience.

The show will take place on December 29 at Manzini Club Lawns and it will be daytime vibes. According to Sbu De Drum DJ, this will be an event complemented by chilled vibes and they are also looking forward to hosting children among their patrons. “DJ Young is a well-known soulful and RnB DJ, people must come in numbers to experience a fired-up-all-school set, he gives nothing but the best.

This will be the second time we are hosting him in Eswatini this year his fans wanted more so that’s why we decided to bring him back on the festive season. This will be a chill vibes people must come with their children as we will entertain children with games, they must come with their normal cooler boxes with drinks inside,” he said.

He also shared that local talent will also be given a chance to shine during the upcoming show. “We will have the best local line-up as well to support. DJ Young said it is not yet confirmed, but soon it shall be confirmed so people can go get their early bird tickets right now at all Galitos stores. They are available right now,” he said.

DJ Young’s talent has seen him share stages with reputable South African musicians who have contributed to the international industry. These musicians include Lamiez Holworthy, Zonke, American musician Karyn White, Maleh, Lerato Kganyago, Busiswa, Uncle R, Vusi Nova, American musician Andy Narrel, S’nazo, King Payo, Ntando, Donald, Selimo Thabane, Semtto, Ringo Madlingozi, DJ Tshego, Puleng Phofolo, Sipho Mabuse and Khuthala to name a few. This is not the first time that a reputable DJ like DJ Young visits another African country for a performance. DJ Akio Kawahito recently performed in another African country as part of his ‘Strictly Soul’ RnB event series. The event took place in Cape Town, South Africa, on October 31, 2025. The ‘Strictly Soul’ event series, which has been described as Africa’s biggest RnB event, also had a recent RnB party in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, in September 2025. While many famous African DJs like Black Coffee and Shimza are primarily associated with Afro-House and Afro-tech genres, DJ Akio has built his brand specifically around RnB music events across the continent.
