MBABANE – Ahead of the next FIFA week, Sihlangu head coach Harries ‘Madze’ Bulunga has called up some new faces into the team with the big names being Darren ‘Dazza’ Christie, Phinda ‘Phindrix’ Dlamini and Colani ‘Tyson’ Magagula.

While ‘Dazza’, who plays for Manzini Sundowns, and ‘Phindrix’, who plays for Red Lions, have been in the national team fold before under now Bafana coach Ephraim ‘Shakes’ Mashaba, it is the Mbabane Swallows defender, Tyson, who is very new – this is his first call-up and well-deserved as he has been in blistering form individually for his club.

There were other call-ups following injuries to some of the players who have been in the team while others were dropped due to form. However, the coach said those dropped remain on standby as they monitor their injuries and these include midfielder Felix Badenhorst, midfielder Siboniso ‘Rocco’ Malambe and midfielder Zweli ‘Mlilo’ Nxumalo as well as defender Siyabonga ‘Msholozi’ Mdluli.”

“We’ll be starting the weekly trainings as from next Monday and Tuesday then go to full time camp next Sunday as it is FIFA week from December 10-15 and we are likely to have a game but that is for the FA to confirm,” Bulunga said.

Meanwhile, it is known that Sihlangu is expected to play Tanzania at the Somhlolo National Stadium during the FIFA week as the FA long confirmed the match.
