LOBAMBA – Correctional Services’ side Green Mamba coach Thabo ‘Koki’ Vilakati has so much respect for Royal Leopard, he dreads his side’s meeting with the police outfit on Sunday.

The two security forces’ teams clash head on in an MTN League first round encounter, which is slated for the Somhlolo National Stadium.
Vilakati, speaking shortly after seeing his charges run amok before thrashing army side Young Buffaloes 3-0 at the Somhlolo National Stadium on Tuesday night, said Leopard will be a different ball game altogether.

“They (Leopard) are at another level. Those are our big brothers and we know how strong they are. We will not be fooled by this win because what you saw tonight (Tuesday night) may not be seen again. We will go back to the drawing board because we need to have a different strategy for them.
“I am happy with the win and our players are working hard. We are careful that the players do not develop an attitude and think that they are now invincible because that would be a fatal mistake. We are pushing them hard at training so that they can play to their full potential,” Vilakati said.
On the game against the army side, he observed that their strategy, which was aimed at stretching their defence, worked wonders.

“We knew that Buffaloes have a very strong defence and they would be hard on us. We were also aware, nevertheless that when facing their tough defenders when we have the ball, then we stood a chance and it worked well,” he said.
His counterpart at Buffaloes, Dominic Kunene, who is in charge in the absence of Zambian coach Charles Bwale, said the injury to striker Ndoda Mthethwa affected their game plan.
