MBABANE – Female professional golfer Nobuhle Dlamini’s search for her first silverware in the professional ranks continues this morning.

The Lobamba-born golfer will seek to make amends in her next event styled Lacoste Ladies Open de France after missing the cut in the past two events in Sweden and Spain.

She would join 77 golfers in fighting for a share of E3.5 million in the French tournament that will run until Sunday.

The former world number six golfer will also look to improve her rankings on the Ladies European Tour (LET) Order of Merit. She is ranked 139th out of 178 with earnings still at about E65 000. The former South Africa number one amateur golfer earned a Category 8a membership on the LET when she tied for fourth at the Lalla Aicha Tour School Final Qualifying in Morocco in December last year.

Other LET tournaments that featured the 22-year old were in Italy, Scotland, Germany and Czech Republic, to mention a few. Her best performance since turning professional was a third place finish in the Zambian Open early this year. A champion in most of the LET events gets up to E500 000 in cash.
