Giya Weseli giyaaa, kutsi mangi giye ngigiyele liWeseli! Greetings Manzini Wanderers family bafana bemkhuleko bafana bemthantazo, mahhala hha, dula Weseli.

Ninjani vele balandzeli bek’dula. It feels so nice to be associated with such a big and special brand, the Wanderville brand, tintfo tek’dula. Thank you so much maWeseli for attending our MTN league game against Green Mamba last Wednesday. You were a marvel to watch singing out loud our new song, ‘Giya Weseli Giyaaaa!’.

Your loyalty to this team is second to none. We recorded our first win of the season because of your never-say-die spirit and the belief that the draws will end and soon we will start winning. Special thanks to the way you behave yourself in our games maWeseli.  Let us be united this season more than ever before.

Let us support all the structures put in place to lead our great team. While other teams are dominating the headlines with different kinds of unsporting behaviour, let us remain humble and do what we do best, support our patron, directors, elders, MC, technical team and the players we adore so much. This season we are going to break records for all the good reasons because we will never be on the bad books of the PLS and we will break the 10-year drought without a trophy.

The leaders of the team have a special request to all of you maWeseli, either an official of the team, a marshal or a supporter; let us continue to respect the rules of the game, no matter what transpires before, during or after the game. God will reward us this season no matter what. Remember phela tsine sidulile so we have to behave njengebantfu labadulile, labatihloniphako.

MTN Y’ello Sunday

It doesn’t come any bigger than this maWeseli. This coming Sunday it’s the MTN Y’ello Sunday and we are playing against our sworn rivals, Mbabane Swallows. Just a reminder maWeseli, last season we never lost any game against Swallows. The best result they could get against us was a draw in the first round then in come the second round batfola s’bhacu  as we won two nil. Nothing has changed maWeseli and this time around our directors made sure they got every player the technical team felt would play libhola lekudula. Now they have even beefed up our technical team by adding the ‘Victorios’ strategist Mr Gcina Dlamini as the team manager. Who then is going to overcome such a strong combination and unity from all the stakeholders of this great family?

I can’t wait for that electrifying environment kaSomhlolo maWeseli when our players emerge from the tunnels. We are expected to fill the stadium to capacity maWeseli as the menu for the day is so exciting. The first game to start at 1:30pm will see Highlanders play Leopard. MTN Brand and Sponsorship Manager Fisiwe Vilane has announced a lot of prices to be won on the day and I am expecting you to be on top of your game maWaza lamahle. You will be scoring penalties against female goalkeepers. When you score you get E1 000. To qualify you have to be an MTN  Mobile Money customer and you should have used it. I know that all of you maWeseli are Mobile Money customers because tintfo tek’dula vele tasekhaya phela eWeselini.

Team News

The players are so geared up for the game maWeseli. They have assured me of nothing else but ‘V’ictory. Come Sunday you will giya wayawaya maWeseli. During the registration deadline baphatsi bekudula, with the recommendation of our head coach and technical director, were able to snatch the services of Musa Sikhondze from Leopard, Ayanda Kunene from Mbabane Celtic and Takawira Chimwanda from Zimbabwe. On the casualty ward our doctor, Mbuyisa, has assured us that the team is ready with the exception of Junior and Chauke who are expected to pass a late fitness test today.

Ladies team

Bosisi bek’dula have done it again as they thrashed Swallows Ladies one nil at CONCO last Saturday.
Thank you so much to the ladies’ technical team, the players and all those supporters who made it to support our girls. The senior team has no reason to fail against Swallows as bosisi betfu sebasicalele indlela.
