MBABANE – The much awaited MTN Premier League crunch fixture between rivals Mbabane Swallows and Manzini Wanderers will be played on Sunday.

The match will be the main attraction in Sunday’s double header pitting leaders Royal Leopard against the resurgent Mbabane Highlanders at 1:30pm. Fans will pay E40 to watch the double header.

MTN Swaziland Brand and Sponsorship Manager Fisiwe Vilane said there would be a lot of merchandise to be won by the fans during the games. She invited fans to come in numbers as there is entertainment lined up.
Meanwhile, Premier League of Swaziland (PLS) COO John Mazibuko said the full fixture would be released today as they were yet to finalise the stadiums. He said action for the weekend would start on Friday.

Mbabane Swallows are hoping to secure their first points of the season. After two games they are perched at the bottom of the log with no points. They lost both of their opening matches to Royal Leopard and RSSC United.

Manzini Wanderers are fourth after three outings. Under new coach Gcina ‘Magiyane’ Dlamini they have five points after recording their first 2-1 win over Green Mamba in a midweek fixture.

Mbabane Highlanders go to the game motivated after winning two of their last games, beating Red Lion 4-1 and Malanti Chiefs 3-2 under coach Ernest Mavuso. Royal Leopard are wounded after suffering two defeats against Mbabane Swallows in the Castle Premier Challenge first and second leg semi-finals.

as long as we will continue having the forces teams in our soccer, such biassness will be the order of the day.they may have been in uniforms but they also are leopards fans by virtue of their jobs. forces teams are unfair to have.
