MBABANE – Swaziland Posts and Telecommunications Corporation (SPTC) on Sunday hosted a thanksgiving lunch for Public Relations Officers (PROs) of various teams that took part in the 2014 Swazi Telecom Charity Cup initiative.

The event was hosted at the newlyopened Solani’s Shisa Nyama at Msunduza and was honoured by the presence of Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs David ‘Cruiser’ Ngcamphalala, SPTC Corporate Communications Manager Nqobile Magagula and PLS COO John Mazibuko.

The minister sat with the PROs, taking his time to chat with them in a relaxed environment and an informal event, going on to have lunch with them.
2014 Swazi Telecom Charity Cup PRO Dumisani ‘DU’ Sibandze said the sponsor had decided to organise such an occasion for the PROs in a way to show appreciation for the work they did in supporting the charity project.

It was, indeed, a day to be merry as the PROs conversed for hours, having drinks and food and they were joined by friends and other representatives of the PLS and National Football Association of Swaziland (NFAS).

Magagula, in her brief address, thanked the PROs for making it to the event and the minister for gracing the occasion. She further mentioned that the lunch was meant to strengthen the bond of unity and friendship that exists among the PROs.
