CASTLE CUP QUARTER- FINAL DATES ANNOUNCED
NGWENYA – The Castle Lager Premier Challenge quarter-final games are set for September 13 and 14 at Somhlolo National Stadium.
The games were cancelled due to the Umhlanga Reed Dance and the fact that it is a FIFA week this weekend. The National team, Sihlangu are preparing for an international friendly against Namibia. The game will be played on September 10 at Sam Nujoma Stadium, Namibia. The Castle Premier Challenge Management Committee (MC) Chairman Meshack Maseko said despite that Sihlangu will now play next Wednesday, nothing has changed concerning the fixture. It was earlier proposed that Sihlangu would play on Saturday. “Teams must continue preparing for the Castle Premier League.
There are national events that are currently ongoing,” Maseko said. Meanwhile, the Castle Lager Premier Challenge through the ‘Perfect 8 Activation’ hosted its third activation at Ngwenya. The event saw over 200 people in attendance and nine teams played for the first prize of E800. The Castle Premier Challenge winners will take home E600 000.
