Greetings to all of you balandzeli belicembu lekudula. I’ve never been so happy in my life like I am these days maWeseli and you know why? You are so special Manzini Wanderers supporters; you deserve the best because you are the best.

Where can I start to explain your dedication and loyalty to this great club? Henry Ward Becker once said; “Every charitable act is a stepping stone towards Heaven”. Niyibekile indvuku ebandla maWeseli, SPTC is so proud of you, because you truly care about the underprivileged.

Itak’seta WayaWaya

I would like to thank the patron, the elders, the directors, the MC and the entire Manzini Wanderers supporters for such an encouraging cooperation and teamwork that prevailed since the voting started. If you develop the habits of success, you will make success a habit maWeseli. We have succeeded in the televoting, now we have to take that success to the field of play come Sunday.

As you already know that we have drawn Royal Leopard maWeseli, and the Under-20s against Green Mamba, all preparations for these epic clashes are progressing very well. The players are so geared for the games. The technical director has made sure all the coaches from the development, ladies team and up to the senior team work together in building a formidable team.

Thank you Madlenya for coming up with such a good idea because everything under the umbrella of Manzini Wanderers FC, the Wanderville brand, is special to all of us. Special thanks also goes to my General Manager (GM), Mr Mahlalela, for such dedication and determination he has for the team. You are such an asset to this team. Your professional approach in leading us in the management committee is very much appreciable. You have made us, the MC, believe in our capabilities.

Team news

The team has retained the bulk of the players who were playing libhola  lekudula last season.  With these players we finished the league in position three and we were still in contention for the league title until the last three games.
This is to say we have a very strong squad even this season and they now understand each other. Superb signings have been made by the team’s directors. Sihle Ndaba will be wearing the Wanderville jersey this Sunday.  His issue was referred to the FA Players Status Committee which gave this verdict, I quote; “Sihle Ndaba is not contracted to Malanti Chiefs FC, so he is free to join and be registered with Manzini Wanderers FC immediately.” I know all of you maWeseli are itching so much to watch this young man mesmerising opponents with his speed and skill. Hahahahaha! come Sunday, can’t wait maWeseli. Another exciting signing is that of striker Leonardo Bongso. It seems like it will be raining goals this season because of such special signings. Last season our strikers, Sidumo Shongwe and Sifiso Matse, were banging in goals like never before, especially in the 2nd round. One wonders how many goals we are going to score this season with such a strike force. I feel like singing my favourite song maWeseli, ‘Liyeza L’Weseli, wena loshaywa luvalo’. There are many other new signings, especially in the belly of the park, where the battle is won or lost including Mthokozisi from Hellenic FC and Gareth Sussman. Let us believe in this team and support them. The GM just sent them a message immediately after the draw; I quote again; “Hey guys guess what? The lion is not the biggest animal in the jungle but it’s the king of the jungle.
How does it do it, you ask? Attitude is the answer. Leopard may have won the Charity Cup last year but this time its ours. Let’s toughen up and show them the lion we are (Wanderville) rules. Asibabonise.”
On another important note, the team this Sunday will attend the morning service at St Paul’s Methodist Church at 8am, you can join too maWaza.
