MAJOTINI INFINITE CHICKEN NKHABA LEAGUE CHAMPS!

MBABANE – Majotini have been officially crowned Infinite Chicken Nkhaba League champions.

 
The side walked away with E2 280 after a prize giving ceremony at Sigwaca House in Mbabane. In second place were Manyisa who pocketed E1 520 while Shooting Stars  and Barcelona finished third and fourth to become E1 000 and E800 richer, respectively.

Hhohho Regional Football Association (HRFA) Chairman, Comfort Shongwe, commended the sponsor for the partnership while pledging to fully embrace their products.
“We’re happy on the progress of the games but we’re challenging the league to produce good coaches to leave a mark in play-offs,” he said.
Also making an address was National Football Association of Swaziland (NFAS) CEO, Frederick Mngomezulu, who has highlighted that investing in football was good for football development.

“We wish the company prosperity,” Mngomezulu said.
“We further encourage regional administrators and officials to embrace the various programmes provided by the FA to improve football. The need for the game to be administered by qualified personnel cannot be overstated.”

 
Sponsor representative, Dumisani Dlamini, noted competitiveness among the teams, while thanking them for keeping the games violence-free.
Meanwhile, Super Stars was applauded for fair play all season long. Also present during the function was NFAS Executive Committee member, Johannes ‘Ace’ Siboza, and Pigg’s Peak League Chairman, Linda Mnisi, who is vying for the Treasurer post in HRFA elections tomorrow.
